An 11 year old boy has led the Louisiana State Police, seen here deboarding what appears to be a Jet Blue plane, on a high speed chase.  According to authorities, the chase began at 6:30 A.M. Friday when the boy was driving a 1996 jeep suv at 80 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.  The driver refused to pull over and got up to speeds of 100 MPH during the chase. The driver finally pulled over in a fast food restaurants parking lot in Boutte, LA.  The 11 year old ran inside to call his mother.

46-year-old Rodney Brown and 32-year-old Leona M. Calloway were charged with improper supervision of a minor and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive a vehicle.  The boy was charged with felony flight from an officer, driving without a license, reckless operation of a vehicle, speeding, passing on the shoulder and improper lane usage.

It was no big surprise that they charged the parents, and the boy with at least somethings.  But come on, how can you charge an 11 year old with that many things.  Oh, and Leona had let her son drive his sick dad around town in the vehicle for six months, evidently, he is a pretty good driver.
