One Click or Call Does It All!  At least that is what their motto says.  I got motivated to talk about this after I was trying to figure out my vacation plans for 2009 last night and saw Breezie over at ForumFinder dot Net posted an article about them.  One click is not exactly right but their site does seem EXTREMELY simple to use.   I decided to check whether they were really the lowest fare carrier.  I choose to book a flight leaving DTW(Detroit) on December 21st 2007 and returning January 2nd 2007.  I ran the search on two other competitors of cheapoair. I also used a program that forecasts airfares and at 343.48 Cheapoair was well ahead of the curve. Never mind that this flight is on American Airlines, but I could live with it.

Cheapoair also does more than flights. They provide cruises, hotels and rental cars. I did check for cruises in 2009, but most cruise companies only have 2007 cruise dates availible, with Disney releasing their dates for the first six months of 2008, and I rather not go on a Disney cruise. Back to the “Phoenix” trip I am “planning”, they have built a new rental car facility where all the rental car companies are housed, which is really nice and convenient. I searched cheapoair for a rental car and found one for USD $483.14, however, the Fox Rental Car company site had it for a little bit less, but you know I would be willing to pay the $15 difference to have everything booked through Cheapoair. Next time you consider flying/renting a car or curising check out Cheapoair!
