An argument over gas prices has left one gas station owner dead and another in the custody of police. Police have said that the shooting happened around 10:30 A.M. this morning on the corner of Springwells and Fort street in southwest Detroit. Police said the owner of the BP Station confronted the owner of the Marathon Station about lowering his price to $2.93 gallon, three cents less than the BP station. The confrontation then escalated into a physical fight with employees from both stations involved. One man was hit with a baseball bat
Relatives identified the BP owner as Jawad Bazzi, 45, who was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Police said the two men began a fistfight, which escalated. The Marathon owner, a man identified only as being in his 50s, drew a handgun and fired three to four shots, fatally striking the BP owner at least once in the head.
This is just pointless. Why do we need all this useless violence and especially over something as trivial as gas prices. Speaking on violence and intolerance, today is also national tolerance day. Let’s be a little more tolerant in our ever violent world and not shoot people needlessly. Just thinking what could have happened had the gun ignited the gas pumps, then we would have a lot more than one dead person. The person who fired the shot should be put in jail for a very long time and charged with attempted murder for every person at the gas station at the time of this argument.

To be honest the guy who died is a dumbass. He should have never got so worked up over fucking 3 cents. He’s an ignorant human & he died with no honor. Sorry!!!!! If he couldn’t handle the competition he should have closed his shit down. May he rest in peace.

Actually, what happened was that one of the bp gas stations workers was heading to work to the bp. and on the way, he saw the marathon worker puting down the price to 2.93 . The bp worker went over to talk to the man and ask him why they were going so low in the price. The Marathon worker told him to F..k off and started waving the rod that he was changing the sign price wuth towards him, they got into a fight. Then the murder , the marathon owner came out of the gas station with a baseball bat to help his worker , who started the quarrel, He pounded the bp worker on the head from the behind. The bp worker went into a concussion. Then across the sreet the bp owner was told by a customer that there was a fight across the street, so he went over, as he crossed the sreet the marathon owner saw him coming from far away so he went back inside. As the bp owner, the victim came to see what was wrong, he saw his employer, who is also his brother, on the gound in a concusion bleeding from his head. He was picking him up and as he was doing that the marathon owner came out of his gas station, with a gun , and shot jawad bazzi 4 shots in the head and the back,.. Jawad bazzi had his back to the guy. The murder deliberately wanted to end him because of years of hatred. Man….. shots in back of the head and back all of them..
ACTUALLY, THE GAS STATION THAT WAS GOING BROKE WAS THE MURDERERS GAS STATION. that is why he went crazy , because he had nothing to loose , his bussiness was going broke . If u guys go to the site of the crime . U guys can tell that the marathon looks like a sh.t hole.\

Only if all you people knew the whole story strait from the persons that where there then you would all say its the marathon owners stupidity that caused all of this and so get your facts strait then talk. MR Bazzi is a well known and respected man worldwide and trouble is the last thing that he would cause but if your brother was down you would go to his help too. thats what he was doing when the stupid old fart from the Marathon could not be a man and just talk about it he came out shooting I Hope He goes to HELL!!! because he is nothing but a non human PIG NAD IF ANYONE thinks that he’s not you can Kiss my A:: too because all this was greed and non human.. I could care less if he is known worldwide. I reflect my personal views on these stories, not everyones views. I said the amount of the story availible at the time, information has changed but you should be able to see that it is date stamped.
May My Uncle Rest In peace. Jawad is my uncle and i know he went there to protect his brother/uncle. He didnt go to cause any problems so whoever has something to say bad about my uncle, let them keep it to themselves. No matter what good things we say about Jawad, it wouldnt be enough. Im proud of my uncle and he left this world of everyone loving him and honoring him. Haters, stay out of are way and our life’s. Haters, ruined our life of looking and watching everything my uncle does and even at his death, haters showed us who they are but we have loved once that really showed us the family who jawad bazzi is.
