Massachussets:You can continue to abuse special education children

  • December 23, 2007 3:44 am

For more information about my previous coverage of the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center see this article.

State authorities have given a controversial special education school in Canton a one-year extension of its authority to use electric shock treatments on students, provided the center makes a series of significant changes.  The  Judge Rotenberg Educational Center uses electric shock treatment to influence the behavior of students attending its institution.  However, state authorities have issued some conditions this year that have not been in place in previous years.  Earlier this year, a phone call was received that was “supposedly” a supervisor at the facility.  They called back to the facility and told a worker about behavior two teenage boys had committed.  They boys were awoken in the middle of the night and given dozens of shocks.  The center must stop delayed punishments and shocking in sleep.

The center must also stop electric shocks for “seemingly minor infractions,” such as getting out of a seat without approval or swearing. And it must show greater commitment to phasing out shock treatments, especially for those about to leave the school to enter mainstream society.

THIS IS NOT ENOUGH.  The centers director has commented on my blog before.  I believe he is abusing the children he is trying to help rejoin society.  There are so many other better methods.  I know people who OPERATE private incarceration facilities for troubled teens, they have much better results than this man has ever had and ever will.  They also treat their clients as PEOPLE and not ANIMALS.  The Judge Rotenberg Educational Center should be shutdown and never reopened.  All those families should sue the school for being so reckless with their children and the school’s director should be sent to jail and subjected to EVERY SINGLE SHOCK that those children received.

Offbeat Stories of the Year

  • December 23, 2007 3:03 am

I usually wouldn’t steal things…well Yes I would but thats another matter. However, the people over at ABC(AUSTRALIAN BROADCASTING COMPANY) decided that their users liked these stories. I have covered one or two of them. But not nearly all of them!

Whatever happened to the story of the Sydney man driving a tank? Oh yeah, here it is! Although, ABC not a bad list overall. Thanks for doing my work for me once again!

International Calling

  • December 18, 2007 9:32 pm

Many of you readers know that I am planning on going to France this summer. Well, most of your probably do not know that I use my cell phone obsessively throughout my day. That’s why I have been looking into some options for when I go to France this summer. Packet 8 is a nifty mobile voip provider that will let you call many countries for much less than my current cell phone provider Verizon would. For example, Verizon is currently charing $1.49 per minute to call to France. Packet 8 charges $9.99 per month plus 3 cents per minute, a great value for people who call moderately to heavily to France or any other number of foreign countries. The special rates only if you are calling from the U.S. to these countries.

Plus, its only $9.99, sure that might be what it costs to add a line at other cell providers but Packet 8 has world class support. Packet 8 also lets you try out their service risk free for 30 days. Oh and don’t forget that unlike international calling cards and other similar services Packet 8 lets you dial directly to the number you wish to call, no pins and no complex dialing instructions. Simple and easy to use, Packet 8 just keeps getting better and better. I am going to be looking at their competition, but I really doubt anyone can beat Packet8! Don’t forget that you can keep in touch with friends and family across the globe.

The special rates are only available when you call from the US to another country.

Santa is groped

Santa was at the Danbury, NY mall on Sautrday when a naughty woman sat on his lap and groped him. “The security officer at the mall said Santa Claus has been sexually assaulted,” police Detective Lt. Thomas Michael said of the weekend complaint. Sandrama Lamy, 33, of Danbury, was charged with sexual assault and breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 3. Police quickly found and identified Lamy because the woman was described as being on crutches, said Capt. Bob Myles

This is just a real shame. So many young ones would have been there and been so disappointed. I would of hated to have a kid there. Why do you sexually assault Santa too? Do you want to be on his naughty list forever Ms. Lamy?

Found yourself a Host yet?

  • December 17, 2007 1:25 am

I have been up to my usual procrastination and would like to say that I have been getting a heck of a lot more traffic for doing NOTHING at all. Right now I have more than enough bandwidth but my disk space is a little bit on the small side. So I figured, why not look for a new web host. If not for real, it will at least let me keep procrastinating. Well I found some extremely interesting Web Hosting Services from Network Solutions. Like for what I am paying right now I can get 2 more GB of disk space and 3 times the amount of bandwidth. I have to admit, bandwidth seems to be getting darn cheap these days.

However, on the down side Network Solutions doesn’t allow nearly as many email accounts or domain pointers as my current host does. FTP accounts are also really restricted. Then again, I am comparing a shared hosting account to a reseller. Network Solutions has been around for a very long time though and they know what they are doing. They have 24/7 tech support and a free domain name with purchase. Although, Network Solutions is a domain registrar as well. Check out Network Solutions if you are looking for some Web Hosting.

Skydiving is a lot like marriage….

Jeanie Dulski and Jamy Knittle actually took two plunges on Friday: First, they got married at Hazleton Municipal Airport, then they went skydiving. The new Ms. Knittle explains it as “Getting married is a scarier than jumping out of a plane.” Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta performed the ceremony on the ground for Dulski and Knittle, both 30. About 45 minutes later, the bride and groom took a plane up to 10,000 feet and leaped out. It was the second marriage but first skydive for Dulski, who made a tandem jump with an instructor. Knittle, who had skydived once before, jumped separately. Barletta called it perhaps the most unusual wedding ceremony he has performed. “I’m sure my wife would like to see me jump out of an airplane without a parachute,” he joked.

Would that be your first choice of a wedding? Uhm, it would not be mine. I rather sit on a nice tropical island doing nothing. Some people like an energy rush evidently and feel the need to go skydiving out of an airplane. Good for them and I hope they have a great marriage.

The Master bedroom clock gets it…

  • December 17, 2007 12:36 am

So the master bedroom clock decided to die last night. Of course, it is a great thing that it is in the corner where we are going to be knocking out a wall. It is part of our whole renovation of the bath area in the master bedroom, but I will talk about that in a future post. So I went searching around Google. I found these awesome wall clocks. It’s actually a company I had heard of a while back. The nice thing about 1-800-clocks.com is that they have a blog about their company as well. They talk about a ton of different topics on this blog. Everything from grandfather clocks to wall clocks is discussed on a simple yet elegant blog.

1-800-clocks.com is exclusively selling Howard Miller clocks. That means you have a great selection of quality clocks to choose from. You don’t have to waste your time looking at all the other knock off and junk brands. If you haven’t gotten your favorite blogger a gift for Christmas, why not buy him a Howard Miller clock? I am sure he will enjoy the free shipping and you will enjoy the zero percent financing. Well, if you don’t have a favorite blogger and are just looking for a useful clock why not check out 1-800 clocks.com?

War Vet and Service Dog booted from Dillards

Retired Staff Sgt. J. Alex Gonzalez was attempting to train a service dog when he was asked to leave by Dillard’s officials. The 36 year old disabled veteran took his service dog Mason to the North East Mall to train him. However, Gonzalez and Mason were asked to leave the story by Dillard’s officials. Dillard’s officials have since apologized to Gonzalez and say the incident appears to be a miscommunication. Service dogs and their owners are always welcome, they said. Experts say the incident reflects common misconceptions about service dogs and the lack of education about the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What is the ADA Act?
The act takes priority over local or state laws and regulations and requires privately owned businesses to allow service animals onto business premises in all areas where customers are generally allowed.

What is a service animal?
Any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If the animal meets that definition, it is considered service a animal regardless of whether is has been licensed or certified by state or local government. Service animals are used by people who are blind, deaf, use wheelchairs or have balance impairments.

I have to say, this is really beginning to tick me off. I have been seeing more and more stories about business owners not allowing guide dogs into their businesses. These are mostly chain stores as well! My dog Waldo, was in training to be a service dog. He was guaranteed access to all areas of stores when he was being trained. If a business owner did not let him enter, you called the police. I think Dillard’s owes Staff Sgt. Gonzalez much more than an apology. They should be retraining all employees about service dogs and the importance they play to a number of their customers.

Butts cannot stand trial over T.P. fiasco

A woman accused of stealing toilet paper from a courthouse has stirred international attention. However, Suzanne Butts has been declared incompetent for trial. Suzanne Butts, 38, was accused of stealing the toilet paper several months ago and was recently evaluated by Dr. Luke Hansen of Center Associates.

“His report indicates that Defendant cannot be restored to competency in a reasonable amount of time, due to functioning in the mild mental retardation range of intellectual functioning,” Judge Kim Riley wrote in her ruling.

The order applies to four other cases pending against Butts. Butts is currently not being prosecuted due to her mental condition. However, if it improves she could face charges.

Butts steals toilet paper? I am so not going the potty mouth route. Butt come on man! You steal toilet paper. I guess the mental retardation thing explains it. Otherwise, it just would not make sense. I am surprised the county even pressed charges. How much does toilet paper cost you?

FREE ADVERTISING

  • December 14, 2007 10:49 pm

Doesn’t this scream scam? I am joking of course, as this is a true offer. Adknowledge is the company behind Bidsystem.  Bidsystem is a trusted company in the Pay Per Click industry, you know the companies that pay every time someone clicks something on your site.  Actually, Bidsystem with specialized increased scalability, pays only when it has been shown that consumers have the highest probability of converting based on their past behavior. Well Adknowledge is trying to get more advertisers and is willing to give $50 in FREE PPC Advertising to anyone who wants to try them out. Adknowledge is a fairly large company delivering ads from 50,000 advertisers to most of the top 500 websites on the internet.

Adknowledge also says that their text ads are up to 30% off the cost of other PPC advertising companies such as Yahoo and Google. If that is true, I really would like to see if they are very profitable. I would be honored to serve their ads on my site. Plus, they might have actually click fraud control. Unlike certain other companies that just randomly decide what clicks are valid and which are not.  So if you want a broader reach in your PPC advertising, try using Adknowledge! They have $50 in free advertising and 1200 unique categories for advertisers to choose from.

Law says: U Can’t Smoke In Front of Kids

  • December 14, 2007 4:15 pm

If you live in Canada, you are now going to be forced to behave. How so you, you may ask.

Well, Nova Scotia is the first place that I’ve heard of ever to band smoking in front of kids under 19 years of age. Not just anywhere though, in your car! That’s right, you can no longer smoke if you are riding in a car with someone age 19 and under.

Now before you start throwing stones at me for posting this, consider this:

Their government is regulating what parents do in front of their kids. In fact they are making a judgment call on what is right and wrong for you, rather than you deciding for yourself. Sure, Second hand smoke smells bad, but the reports on it have not been conclusive enough to promote a law banning smoking in front of your kids while driving.

Why not take baby steps Canada?

Why not ban text messaging while driving?

Why not ban cell phones while driving?

The only time that I personally have felt in danger was while driving in Canada. Someone nearly t-boned my car while on their cell phone.

Sadly, Canada was not available for comment.

But I guess we are finally, well at least they are…thinking of the children.

Man Fills Inside of Car With Gas

  • December 13, 2007 3:55 pm

Yes. Nothing odd about filling up the good ol’ gas tank right? Well, this post isn’t what you might have gathered from the title….

A tired, or drunk man, needed to fill up on gas. So he did that indeed!

He filled the back of his car with gasoline! No, not the tank, the BACK OF THE CAR! That’s right, the guy loaded up the back of the car with so much gas that it was dripping on his way out. Sadly, no further details were given about this. Surprisingly the car didn’t blow up, the driver didn’t pass out, and wasn’t stopped originally.

Just a warning for you, make sure you don’t fill anything but your gas tank with gas. Or else you’ll be featured on this site.

Airport Threatened By Vodka

  • December 12, 2007 6:10 pm

Airport security is bad. Waiting in lines are horrible, but these days you can’t bring any liquid on the plane. Fair enough, just dump your liquid, and get on your flight.

Well, one man has thrown away his last bottle, because Airplane security told an elderly man that he couldn’t bring his Vodka on the airplane and that he must discard it.

Rather than dump the liquid, the man called upon his college frat days and he chugged 2 liters of Vodka as fast as he could, resulting in a near death situation.

All because of the risk of terror.

The old man will recover…but the Vodka will never be used for its intended purposes.

It’s rather Snowy, and Cold, and I want to get away!

  • December 12, 2007 4:29 pm

It is freezing up here in Michigan. Literally, the temperature is 32 degrees according to my thermometer. I want to go some place warm. Any place above oh, 70 would be great right now. I was searching around for places to get away to and I saw that Amelia Island in Florida is having a Lodging Special. I hopped into looking at the site and saw that one of my favorite hotel chains, Hampton Inn is participating. I am thinking of going Feb. 16th and leaving Feb 19th. The cost is $139 a night, reasonable due to it being a hot hotel market that time of year down in Florida. I might be able to use my HiltonHonors points to get a free night too!

Heck, I am going to go ahead and take a look to see if I can make this a reality. If the airfare is cheap enough to Jacksonville airport, which is a 30 minute drive from the island. Oh, and it is! I can get to Jacksonville non-stop from Detroit for under $300. This looks like a feasible midwinter break option. I’ll have to think it over. Any of you readers down in Jacksonville? I think a meet up would be awesome.

Have you been enjoying Jorge?

I Rode SLUT Today!

  • December 12, 2007 3:04 pm

South Lake Union Trolley

While many people will be quick to comment about how we are turning into a filth blog, I’ll be quick to correct everyone’s thought process by saying that SLUT is just an acronym for South Lake Union Trolley! The South Lake Union region of Seattle has been booming and today it was the first time of the trolley was running people throughout the city. The unfortunate acronym was heavily in the news for the sad, sad, name but the city stood behind their decision to keep the name and today marks the first running of the S.L.U.T and it was a lovely ride. Today it was free to ride, afterwards the city will start charging for the rails to be ridden. So if you’re in the Seattle area, ride the S.L.U.T for free today! Before they start charging!

McDonalds Says Eat Faster or Else

  • December 11, 2007 7:23 pm

McDonalds

Just when McDonald’s cleared the highest stock update, they have already found a way to screw over their customers. In recent news from the UK, local law enforcement have been fining people that eat too slow. If it takes you longer than 45 minutes to eat your food, regardless of the size of your family and friends, you’re looking at a major fine of 50 pounds. (roughly 100 dollars)

Ok, so you’re thinking to yourself, maybe that’s not so bad.

Fine, eating fast food is just that; fast.

But, what if you ordered some McNuggets and wanted more, you too are subject to fine.

That’s right, if you return to the same McDonalds within 90 minutes of your original visit, expect yet another fine.

McDonald’s is not scoring points for themselves by fining their guests, and rightfully so says the McDonald’s corporation.

In a recent statement, Mcdonald’s stated,

“It is important to McDonald’s that all our customers have an opportunity to park in the car park adjacent to our Drive Thru Restaurant at Gatwick Airport. To facilitate this,we have been forced to impose time limits on parking…..”

Sadly, Ronald McDonald was nowhere to be seen.

Visa Gift Cards

  • December 9, 2007 2:04 am

I need to get a Visa Gift Card this week. This one will be for $1,000 to buy my laptop, but I also am going to be buying one for my Dustin for Christmas. For Dustin’s I am considering getting the Gift Card customized. GiftCardLab lets you customize a picture on an otherwise plain, dull, boring looking credit card. You can upload your own pictures for the gift card making it truly a great gift. I am sure that Dustin will appreciate the cash on the card but I think he will also enjoy the picture on the card which will last much longer than the cash. I need to get to the bank Monday and get myself my Visa Gift Card, and then go to GiftCardLab to get my custom one for Dustin. Hurry, otherwise you might not get it in time for Christmas.

Postal Employee steals Greeting Cards

Michael Olivio, a New York city postal worker, pocketed nearly 130 pieces of mail to get at the cash inside according to investigators.  Olivio was released on his own recognizance Thursday following his arrest Wednesday.  Charges against him were not availible and could not be found by the AP.

Postal authorities started getting complaints in June about greeting cards going missing in a Brooklyn zipcode, U.S. Postal Inspection Service Special Agent Stephen Dolloff said in papers filed in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn.

Dolloff setup a sting involving a wireless transmitter and cash in a decoy card.  The card was not delivered and it was traced to Olivio after his shift ended.  Agents stopped Olivio and found their decoy in his car, along with about 137 other cards and other letters, Dolloff said in a sworn statement. He said Olivio later told agents he had been filching greeting cards from his mail bag since February, recently taking as many about 35 per day.

What a accused piece of scum.  Who would take money out of the mail?  Secondly, please do not SEND money in the mail in the first place.  Checks are much more secure and always make them out to a name, not CASH.  I hope Olivio gets taught a lesson.  5-10 years in a federal prison sounds nice for him, don’t you think?

L.A. Lawyers and Criminal Defense

  • December 9, 2007 1:45 am

I watched this halirious talk show with Heather Chandler on E! tonight. However, the best part is when they comment on all the celebrities and particularly the celebrity antics. They were talking about how Brittany Spears was 12 hours late for her photo shoot and commenting that she might be driving drunk. However, if she was drunk there is a blog called the Los Angeles Criminal Attorneys | California Criminal Defense Lawyers | Felony Misdemeanor DUI Specialists that will help her win her case. L.A. can be a brutal place, so I think Brittany Spears should be represented by someone who can truly help her.  Plus, these lawyers look like they are ready to go all in for you, you don’t see that type of appearance everyday.

My friend I know is moving to Dubai!

  • December 7, 2007 10:31 pm

I have just found out that one of my friends is moving to Dubai! This comes as a rather large shock to me as General Motors is actually transferring him there! You would think because of all the recent turmoil in the automotive industry they would not be relocating people in the U.S., let alone to Dubai! Well, I guess he is going. He does not know exactly when but his boss said the are going to be lining up an apartment for him. Dubai apartments are in great demand because of how big Dubai is becoming as a world power. My friend gave me the link to a dubai hotel apartments locater. Their cheapest property is $4,900 USD per month! With most apartments around here being $600-$700 this is quite a bit more than you would think. It seem more like they are running dubai hotels.

However, since G.M. would be footing the housing bill these are very nice properties. I like the property where you live on the giant sand palm tree called Palm Jumeirah. These are only meant for temporary occupancy until G.M. could find him an actual house. But 2,260 feet for one person is plenty of room. It has 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Pets aren’t allowed which is a bummer if I wanted to take Waldo to visit him, which I probably wouldn’t anyways due to the whole flying thing. But it does have access to a public pool, which in the desert is a very good thing! It also is on a beautifully landscaped road. With the housing shortage in Dubai right now, I think this would be a great place to live permanently as well as temporarily. Maybe I’ll rent it if I ever head out to the United Arab Emirates. I would love to go shopping on Palm Jumeirah and I could meet up with Tyler, my friend. Well, hopefully I will get to enjoy a dubai hotel someday!

Students teacher shows porn to…students!

  • December 7, 2007 8:16 pm

A student teacher in Bixby, OK is being investigated for showing 14-15 year old students pornography. Several students told their parents about it Friday evening and police are looking into it. Investigators plan to present charges to the Tulsa County District Attorney before they make an arrest.

Hmmm. This is about as idiotic as you can get. Why would you show students porn? However, the real problem is with the sub. Many school districts higher subs after a simple background check. That is different our local district. All five districts in the county use a single organization to employ subs. This third-part organization oversees things such as special education busing and subs. However, when sub allegations were filed earlier this year against a sub, the school district said “He is no longer in our employ”. That might be true but he is able to re offend elsewhere while his charges are pending! This is just messed up. I hope this is a limited case and I hope this teacher is innocent. Otherwise, he is a complete moron.

iPerjury

A teenage suspect who recorded his interrogation has landed his integrator in hot waters said authorities, Thursday. Unaware of the recording, Detective Christopher Perino testified in April that the suspect “wasn’t questioned” about a shooting in the Bronx, a criminal complaint said. But then the defense confronted Perino with a transcript that proved Perino had spent more than an hour unsuccessfully trying to persuade Erik Crespo to confess.

Once the transcript was revealed in court, prosecutors asked for a recess, defense attorney Mark DeMarco said. The detective was pulled from the witness stand and advised to get a lawyer. Perino, 42, was arraigned Thursday on 12 counts of first-degree perjury and faces as many as seven years on each count, prosecutors said. He was released on $15,000 bail.

Perino had arrested Crespo on New Year’s Eve 2005 while investigating the shooting of a man in an elevator. While in an interrogation room at a station house, Crespo, then 17, stealthily pressed the record button on the MP3 player, a Christmas gift, DeMarco said. After Crespo was charged with attempted murder, his family surprised DeMarco by playing him the recording.

“I couldn’t believe my ears,” said the lawyer, who decided to keep the recording under wraps until he cross-examined Perino at the trial.” Prosecutors then offered Crespo, who had faced as many as 25 years if convicted, seven years if he pleaded guilty to a weapons charge. Erik Crespo accepted the plea.

Well, it seems that recording a conversation can save your but from a murder charge. The thing that really troubles me is that this kid got off with so little, only seven years for a murder he MIGHT of been able to be charged with? I mean, it is great that the cop is gone but I would rather have both off the streets for a long, long time. Then we get to Martha, who didn’t get very long either. Perjury isn’t being taken seriously enough. Lock them up and throw away the key!

Did Ann Arbor come before the Chicken?

  • December 4, 2007 1:21 pm

People who want fresh eggs in their yard may find it easier in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Councilman Stephen Kunselman said a number of business people and residents support the idea and said he plans to bring a resolution before the city council. Many communities allow chickens but not roosters, which can make a lot of noise at dawn, Kunselman said. He said regulations typically require a 25-foot setback from other homes to avoid disturbing neighbors.

“What’s with the chickens?” Councilman Stephen Rapundalo asked Kunselman. “Chickens lay eggs,” Kunselman said. “I want fresh eggs. It’s just a simple ordinance change.” “I want to have fresh milk,” Rapundalo said. “Let’s change the ordinance to allow cows or goats.” “You can live in New York City and have chickens,” Kunselman responded. “It’s not a matter of how urban you are. It’s a matter of political will.”

I want to thank Stephen Kunselman for being quirky as all get out. I live just north of Ann Arbor, and would love to visit a few of my friends down there. Now, I can go get eggs right out of their backyard! This is a great idea seriously. It promotes the dying art of farming in a era where we need more food. Why not Ann Arbor, go for the eggs. In fact, take the gusto and do allow people to have cows and goats, as long as they meet the requirements. I can’t wait to see if this ordinance is passed. I actually read about it yesterday in the Ann Arbor News, and not the AP wire…I was REALLY surprised when it showed up.

Pay Phones:Extinct

Pay Phones are becoming harder and harder to find across the United States.  AT&T will be leaving the pay phone business by the end of next year.   There are roughly 1 million pay phones left in the United States, down from the peak of 2.6 million in 1998.  Canadian backers of AT&T will continue to operate pay phones, even though they are decreasing at roughly 3% a year.  There are an estimated 150,000 pay phones in Canada.  Nebraska is even worse, with some of their pay phones being required by law.  Every small town or village is required to have one for emergencies.  However, the pay phones sometimes are not used for months.  For example, Strang, NB Population 42 last utilized its pay phone on July 4th, 2007.

Pay Phones are dying.  It’s a sad reality.  However, I am sure we will get on.  Just think, some people still don’t have cell phones.  What will happen when the last pay phone is taken off the Earth?

Chimps Smarter than College Students

  • December 3, 2007 9:07 pm

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Scientists have proven that chimps are often smarter than humans in short term memory. That challenges the belief of many people, including many scientists, that “humans are superior to chimpanzees in all cognitive functions,” said researcher Tetsuro Matsuzawa of Kyoto University. One memory test included three 5-year-old chimps who’d been taught the order of Arabic numerals 1 through 9, and a dozen human volunteers.

They saw nine numbers displayed on a computer screen. When they touched the first number, the other eight turned into white squares. The test was to touch all these squares in the order of the numbers that used to be there. Results showed that the chimps, while no more accurate than the people, could do this faster.

Tetsuro Matsuzawa thinks two factors gave his chimps the edge. For one thing, he believes human ancestors gave up much of this skill over evolutionary time to make room in the brain for gaining language abilities. The other factor is the youth of Ayumu and his peers. The memory for images that’s needed for the tests resembles a skill found in children, but which dissipates with age. In fact, the young chimps performed better than older chimps in the new study. So the next logical step is to fix up Ayumu with some real competition on these tests: little kids.

Haha. Well we know that we logically have come from chimps. But them being smarter than us? Hey, you gotta give the chimps some props. They were able to do better than college students! I wonder if a five year old kid would do nearly as well? We will have to wait and see. :)

Ahhh, the Christmas shopping season. Don’t you love it when you see the people scrambling at shopping malls to get the perfect gift for their giftee(Yeah, that is a NEW word)? Luckily, for my friend Breezie, she will know what I am thinking about giving her. I have talked about previously how I thought I should get her a gift basket. Well these Virgil’s Gift Baskets are looking really awesome. Virgil’s Holiday Gifts also look cute, especially the Deluxe Holiday Stocking. Who would think you could get an awesome stocking with that great of a price!  Plus, the stocking would be reusabale year after year, great for someone who just had a baby.  The mother gets the contents and the baby gets a brand new quality stocking for Christmas’s to come.

However, the gift I think I am going to choose for Breezie will probably be the Virgil’s Soap Sampler. It has the best price of all the different items I saw on Virgil’s website, and the most items for its price as well. Plus, I think she will enjoy the different scented soaps and hopefully have a wonderful Christmas. What would you buy if you had the chance to get a friend something from Virgil’s?

A firefighter who had just retired showed up at work completely nude Friday. Johnson City, NY retired assistant fire chief Kenneth Rowe showed up at work naked to make his buddies laugh. His friends took pictures of him and they all shared in the fun of the event. However, the pictures ended up in the hands of police. Rowe was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.

Well, well Mr. Rowe! You seem to be very stupid. Who walks around naked outside regardless the matter. You deserve your conviction. Hope you have a nice jail term for playing around. Haha, I just can’t stop laughing at your stupidity.

Police in Felton, DE charged Caroline L. Fluman with terroristic threatening Thursday. Authorities accused Fluman of the Class F felony after concluding a 4 week investigation into a bomb threat at Lake Forest High School.

Investigators say on Thursday morning, the school resource officer was contacted by a state police detective who was assisting him at the school. Police say the detective had been contacted by a teacher, Fluman who provided him with a note in the form of a computer printout that read “bomb in school everyone dies”. According to police, as the investigation unfolded, the detective and the teacher responded to her classroom at which time another printout came across the classroom printer claiming “There is a bomb in the school no joke”.

Police say as the school administration was being informed of the situation the teacher handed the detective a third printout indicating that a bomb was in the school. Investigators say during the schools investigation a fourth note was located by an assistant principal near a trash can located outside the school store. Police say this note was handwritten and said “bomb everybody dies”.

As a result of the notes being discovered, the school was evacuated and the building was searched by three explosive canines, according to police. Police say no explosive devices were located during the search. Detectives say during the investigation they learned that the teacher who provided the notes had been captured on video, via the closed circuit security system. Police say the video depicted Fluman in the area of the school store allegedly placing what appeared to be a note behind the trash can. Police say on Thursday, Fluman turned herself in at Troop 3 and was processed and arraigned.

Can anyone say idiot? Who would do such a stupid thing. Evidently, a very troubled women. Hopefully she will get the help she needs. Ms. Fluman, I hope you get some jail time for your moronic actions.
