The next time you are driving around Collier County, you might want your dog restrained. The Collier County Sherrif is requiring that pets do not obstruct a drivers view as it is a safety hazard. Any pet that does, will get there owner fined $73 and be very disliked for several weeks. Collier County officials insist that this common practice is unsafe, and are trying to educate the public in hopes of avoiding writing tickets.

GREAT!  Now we have the police saying what we can do in our cars.  Are dogs really the issue?  Are there not many more people with cellphones and iPods causing more danger than a small animal?

Women condemed for practicing witchcraft

A Saudi Arabian women has been sentenced to death for witchcraft. Originally sources reported that the women weighed the same as a duck but upon further review nothing could be found to back that up. However, in a letter to King Abdallah, the group said that Fawza Falih had been beaten to extort a confession she later repudiated in court. The charge itself has no basis in Saudi law, the letter argued. Several witnesses claimed that Falih had bewitched them, including one man who said she had made him impotent. In court, Falih said that she was beaten repeatedly during 35 days of detention by the Saudi religious police.

Now how bizzare are we getting here. First, you get convicted of witchery. Then you are accused off making a man impotent. It even says the charge has no basis on Saudi law. Then how was this women convicted! It is still amazing how the middle east works.

Bidz

  • February 14, 2008 5:48 pm

One of the sites I was working with affiliate marketing on was Bidz. They had a nice campaign and all, but we had a few disagreements and I took my check and left. Bidz has a wide range of jewelry everything from diamond rings to gold earnings. It all depends on what you want and usually the stuff is pretty darn cheap. They also have FedEx shipping and its just a nice service. It’s really all like the eBay of the Jewelry world.

ForumFinder dot Net and Trucks

  • February 14, 2008 5:44 pm

I was talking to Bree the other day from ForumFinder dot Net, pretty good site go check it out, anyways, we were talking about her son Matt bought some new truck accessories. He has a pretty darn big truck that she sometimes drives around and I guess these things he bought were pretty darn nice as well. Maybe when I get to see her sometime I will get to see the truck totally tricked out. Haha, wonder what year that will happen in…2010?

T.V. has sucked recently

  • February 14, 2008 5:41 pm

With the writers strike finally over, I am glad that I will now be able to watch T.V. without seeing the same boring damn thing over and over and over again. One of the commercials that became on the nonstop record when I was watching T.V. over the past few months was a commercial for term life insurance. Evidently the company has a lot of money to spend on advertising, as darn does it come up a lot. Anybody watch the super bowl? Those ads were pretty good, especially the FedEx ones.

Legal to Drive

  • February 14, 2008 5:38 pm

I am legal to drive. Yes, I am 16 and it feels GREAT! However, we called the insurance company. That pretty much nearly killed me! For the regular rate it is $490 for six months. I wonder if I could find online auto insurance for less…probably not because of me being so young, caucasian and male. You know, those three traits really screw me over…haha.

The United Kingdom and Housing

  • February 5, 2008 7:57 pm

In the United Kingdom buying a house is a huge ordeal due to the whole moving process they go through. One of the parts that can be made easier, actually extremely simple is Mortgages from Earth. You simply enter in your contact and other information to a secure online form and Earth will have a living, breathing person contact you at your phone number. They will have a free quote about your loan and will be able to answer any questions you might have. Now if only my Mortgage company would be that easy! If I ever in the U.K., Earth would be my first choice for a Mortgage lender!
