Women condemed for practicing witchcraft

A Saudi Arabian women has been sentenced to death for witchcraft. Originally sources reported that the women weighed the same as a duck but upon further review nothing could be found to back that up. However, in a letter to King Abdallah, the group said that Fawza Falih had been beaten to extort a confession she later repudiated in court. The charge itself has no basis in Saudi law, the letter argued. Several witnesses claimed that Falih had bewitched them, including one man who said she had made him impotent. In court, Falih said that she was beaten repeatedly during 35 days of detention by the Saudi religious police.

Now how bizzare are we getting here. First, you get convicted of witchery. Then you are accused off making a man impotent. It even says the charge has no basis on Saudi law. Then how was this women convicted! It is still amazing how the middle east works.

Mall Shooter

Living out in Omaha, NE this scares me. I used to live in Omaha but what if I had stayed there. What if some of my friends there WERE shot. They weren’t, Thank GOD! But it could of happened. We really need to work on mental health in our country!

You know…

getting caught in the vent at the local grocery store your trying to burglarize isn’t the best idea.  However, I suppose you could choose to do it.  I wouldn’t recommend it though, it might hurt, just a little.

I just got some great news, in a very bizzare sort of time fashion, but still great news. I have been invited to a wedding in Barbados next December. That is December 2008, which may seem like a long time off but when the bride and groom need everything ready six months ahead of time, it really is not. I am going to look into buying myself one of those beautifully snazzy wedding shirts. I really like them, and they seem to lend themselves to warmer climates. Well, maybe I’ll get my picture in one at the wedding. WHO KNOWS!

And who said that unloading semis would only take a few hours, try a few seconds!

This is one weird coke commercial, and probably the closest thing you will ever see to the “real” Coca-Cola.

October Traffic

  • November 1, 2007 5:58 pm

We had a killer month in October, although not as good as September things really picked up.  I was surprised looking at the last few days as traffic really picked up, kind of strange actually. Just click on the image and you should be able to see it in its entirety.  We had 127 posts in October with 18.521 words a new record for posting!  Congrats guys, and another story coming right up after this message.

Random Videos

  • October 25, 2007 6:47 pm

I am going to do some random videos as I just found some that were pretty halirious. I guess that is what procrastinating gets you.

Don’t you look away! Bring you the Final Countdown from Europe(Sponge Bob) in honor of John Levens 44th Birthday!

Personally, I was amazed at how this lady could keep her composure, after all her son has just been shot! I was born in Charleston so I also thought this video was cool in that way.

This is a non-youtube video so sorry if the formatting is off. But having a DC-10 fly right past you is pretty freakin cool.

Hope you like this and maybe it will become more of a regular feature!

The echo of this room is probably the best part of it. Don’t you love it? It was taken inside a building in Tokyo.

If you click on this photo, which you should, you will be able to see some river in Tempe, that is the flight path for all flights into Phoenix International Airport.  Also, U.S. airways headquarters is approximatively 500 yards behind my position when taking this picture.
